About us
GIBKA MAMA
Gibka Mama was created from passion to active and healthy lifestyle. The aim of the classes is to promote physical activity among women during and after pregnancy. It’s also to educate how important and necessary movement is at various stages of a woman’s life, especially when she brings a new human to the world.
I’ve been a fitness instructor for four years. Sports and physical activity are my passion. When I got pregnant in 2017, finding professional fitness classes for women in Poznan was impossible. I was very keen to stay in good shape but all I had left were yoga classes (which I nonetheless have fond memories of). However, I was lacking “real movement”. I realized there had to be many more women like me. After giving birth to Pola I finished additional courses necessary to train safely with future moms. When getting back in shape after pregnancy, we often make many mistakes that stem only from the lack of knowledge and directions from the instructor. At Gibka Mama we really do train! There is no “special treatment” but we do listen to our bodies, take a smart approach to physical activity and a holistic approach to fitness. All for you to strengthen what should be strengthened, add flexibility to the muscles, and feel really happy. The endorphins after classes are guaranteed and free of charge. Come and see for yourself that fitness classes both during and after pregnancy can be effective and healthy.

Ula Pyrszel
Founder of Gibka Mama. Fitness instructor specializing in prenatal and postpartum physical activity.. I have a degree in history, law, and education. Sport is my passion and for the past few years also my professional life. I am a fitness instructor, prenatal and postpartum trainer. I fell in love with physical activity and healthy lifestyle eight years ago. It started with spine conditions which I wanted to work on by exercising properly. I completed a fitness instructor course in the OpenMind school and specialist courses at Movuto, EFIB, and Polskie Centrum Fitness. I actively participate in fitness expos and take training from the best international educators. Professional approach to physical activity is the priority in my work and that’s why I decided to create Gibka Mama where women during and after pregnancy can take part in fitness classes prepared to fulfill the needs of their constantly changing bodies without worrying about their health. Exercising should be effective but also reasonable because we only have one body and our job is to protect it and take care of it. We can achieve that with correct exercise technique, through conversations with the instructor, and by listening to our body.

Fitness instructor, personal trainer, dietitian. I’ve been conducting various group and individual fitness classes, both indoors and outdoors. I gained my experience during many courses, workshops and fitness expos with Polish and international educators. I enjoy conducting classes that combine different types of exercises. I completed the IFAA Poland courses and additional ones, including healthy spine, stretching, Pilates, training for pregnant women and pelvic floor muscles training. I make sure my classes are interesting and safe. I try to build body awareness and activate as many muscle groups as possible. I expand my fitness knowledge and experience all the time because I want my classes to become even better and more interesting. I take inspiration from each of them to create even more innovative and effective training methods.
